Uplink hacker elite deus ex5/6/2023 GOG has a habit of releasing DOS versions instead of CD versions(so inferior sound quality) or including expansions for some games but not for others, so you'll want to check. Be sure to check the individual forums on the GOG website for games you're interested in though. You don't have to mess around with DOS Box or anything, they have it all set up for you just download and install. Sure, I've bought I think 2 games that I ended up never playing, but for the most part you can find good stuff on there. However, A) I don't know what it was called cause I didn't use it, and B) Shortly after my brother got it the company decided to start charging money for it. My brother used to use a program that converted the 360 input into something games that didn't support the controller could reconize. On your list I imagine you'd want to use the controller with the original Deus Ex? I don't think it'd be supported. So there could be newer games on there that will support it. At some point GOG stopped being "Good Old Games" and just became GOG(I think it stands for nothing now). My old laptop ran Vista and I never had any problems.Īs far as a 360 controller, I'd be doubtful. You probably arn't running Windows 7 anyway if your comp is old. Since the ones you're interested have been on there for a long time though I wouldn't worry about that. Seems like GoG will release games only to have the community discover they don't work on Windows 7. Your main concern would be operating system. Thus, your 2 year old computer is probably still years ahead of what was availble when these titles originally released. The thing to keep in mind is GOG used to stand for "Good Old Games" so a large portion of their catalog are old.
